Building Faq
How long does it take to build a guitar?
Building an acoustic guitar can take up to 6-12 months to complete based on the complexity of the design and the materials used. Building an electric guitar can take as much as 3 months based on design requirements and material availability.
What is the cost of one of your acoustic guitars?
The base price for our initial Monarch is $4500. This model comes with basic rosette design and inlay work. It will have either a spruce or cedar top. The neck will be crafted from Mahogany. Standard back and side material is Maple or Mahogany. Standard bridge and fingerboard material is Ebony. Utilize Gotoh tuners and D’Addario Strings unless otherwise specified and agreed upon.
Can I order guitars with different options?
Do you used purchased parts to produce your guitars?
Our guitars are fabricated completely in our shop by our team. There are basic items that are purchased to support final assembly like tuners and strings, but all other materials are crafted within our shop from raw materials.
Do you produce electric guitars?
Do your guitars come with a warranty?
We warranty our guitars against any defect in craftsmanship or materials for ten years. This warranty does not cover any issues related to neglect or adverse reactions from improper care, climate, humidity, or temperature. Pickups and electronics (if installed) are warrantied for 3 years. All warranty repairs or alterations are performed at the discretion of Mulberry Street Guitars to ensure the instruments stability, playability and musicality remain intact. Any repairs or alterations not performed or authorized by Mulberry Street Guitars would negate this warranty herein.
